batyr
Service Description
batyr is a preventative youth mental health organisation, created by young people, for young people. Stigma, under-resourced communities and other barriers to accessing quality information and services, stop young people from getting the right support or knowing how to look after their mental health before things get tough. Through lived experience storytelling, batyr shares mental health stories that inspire action, reaching young people early and often with the tools they need to look after themselves and each other before a crisis. batyr has a passionate and growing network of over 1,400 young storytellers who bravely share their lived experiences with thousands of young people in schools, universities and communities across the country every year. batyr are experts in prevention, delivering evidence-based and impactful programs for young people since 2011.
