Service Description
Provides free legal advice on family law, criminal law and some civil law matters. Legal Aid ACT's mission is to ensure people who need legal advice but are unable to afford a private lawyer can access legal help. Legal Aid ACT can help you by providing one-off legal advice for minor legal problems, ongoing legal representation for major legal problems, and non-legal support to help you while you take action to resolve your legal problem. Legal Aid ACT also has specialist legal services for young people (Youth Law Centre), older people (Older Persons ACT Legal Service) and a Tenancy Advice Service.
