Bikes 4 Life
Service Description
Originally established in 2009, the Sydney branch has repaired and gifted, more than 3,000 bicycles, since it moved to the Kimbriki Recycling & Resource Centre in Dec 2018. We gift fixed-up bikes to charities, and other organisations, both here and overseas. Within Australia, we have given our bikes to indigenous communities out west, refugee groups, the PCYC, disability organisations and various childrenâs charities. We have also provided refurbished bikes to countries all over the world, such as Cambodia, Tonga, Lebanon, and Zambia. It is worth noting that, bikes we send overseas are often used as the main source of transport for a whole family, and so become an incredibly valuable asset.
