Service Description
A legal service for Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders, including children, through representation in court, advice and information and referral to further support services. Legal services include Custody Notification Service, Care and Protection, Criminal Law. Offices are located throughout NSW. Newcastle ALS attends the following courts on a weekly or fornightly basis; Broadmeadow Childrens, Belmont, Cessnock, Maitland, Muswellbrook, Newcastle, Raymond Terrace, Singleton and Toronto. Clients can meet solicitors at court to discuss their matter on the court date.
